Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a protocol converting device which can surely return a reception result informing sentence to the transmitter of a communication message that is sent to an electronic mail network through a facsimile communication network.

CONSTITUTION: A communication message is transmitted to an electronic mail network 4 through a facsimile communication network 2. Then the reception result information given from the network 4 is analyzed. Based on this analyzing result, a reception result informing sentence is produced and sent to the network 2.
