Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive material having high proton conductivity stably in the intermediate-temperature range, a solid electrolyte membrane and a method of producing a proton conductive material.SOLUTION: A proton conductive material is obtained by substituting at least a part of alkali ions originated from alkali oxides with protons in a glass material comprising an alkali oxide, an oxide of a trivalent electropositive element, e.g. a lanthanide, an oxide of an element of a higher valency, e.g. silicon, tellurium, zirconium and tantalum, and a phosphorus oxide.
