Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection of a body to be detected even if environment light including infrared rays or the like of sunlight is received.SOLUTION: In a proximity sensor device, a detection signal processing part 5 superposes a first variation component 13a of a first environment light signal onto a reference signal 14 in a first detection state to obtain a difference ΔS2 to a detection signal 13 when a second environment light signal is equal to or less than a second threshold, detects proximity or non-proximity of a body 4 to be detected by comparing the difference ΔS2 with a first threshold, generates a third environment light signal obtained by adding a signal 11b with predetermined strength to the first environment light signal when the second environment light signal exceeds the second threshold, superposes a second variation component 11c of a third environment light signal onto a reference signal 12 in a first detection state to obtain a difference ΔS3 to a detection signal 11, and compares the difference ΔS3 with the first threshold to detect proximity or non-proximity of a body 4 to be detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
