To provide a simulated rotating light for actualizing rotation display without using a motor by controlling the light emitters to be lit on and lit off in units of emitter groups sequentially adjacent in the rotation direction.
The simulated light (1) includes a support (7) having a protruded face on the front side and formed in a semi-cylindrical shape whose axis is almost vertical, the plurality of light emitting groups (12) provided on the protruded face of the support (7) along the periphery of the support (7) at predetermined spaces and consisting of the plurality of light emitters (11) arrayed almost parallel to the axis of the support (7), and a control device (14) for controlling the light emitters (11) to be lit on and lit off in units of the light emitting groups (12). The control device (14) controls the light emitters (11) of the neighboring light emitting groups (12) to be lit on and lit off with respect to each light emitting group, in sequence from the starting light emitting group which is located at one side end of the support (7) to the final light emitting group which is located at the other side end. The control device (14) starts the light-on of the light emitters (11) of the starting light emitting group when a predetermined time passes after lighting off the light emitters (11) of the final light emitting group.
