Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method capable of displaying all gradations of an input image signal while reducing the flicker, and to provide a display device using the display method.SOLUTION: The display method includes: first pseudo gradation display step (S10, S13); a second pseudo gradation display step (S11, S15); a gradation number comparison step (S12) of determining whether the total gradation number of a pseudo gradation added in the first or second pseudo gradation display step and the gradation number of the second bit number satisfies the gradation number of the first bit number; and a pseudo gradation addition step (S12→S11, S14→S13) of, when the total gradation number does not satisfy the gradation number of the first bit number, repeatedly executing the first or second pseudo gradation display step while sequentially pushing up the value of N, and sequentially adding the pseudo gradation until the gradation of the first bit number.
