Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the flicker from being struck by providing field memories for the right and left eyes respectively storing picture signals for the right and left eyes and constantly displaying pictures for the right and left eyes on picture display devices for the right and left eyes. CONSTITUTION:The picture signals for the right and left eyes are alternately reproduced from a video disk 10 by a video disk player 11, at the same time, a switching signal 12a is generated, switches S1-S3 are switched to a contact (a) side when the picture signal for the left eye is generated, and to a contact (b) side when the picture signal for the right eye is generated, respectively. When the picture signal for the left eye is generated, the signal is directly inputted to the picture display device 1 for the left eye and displayed and when the picture signal for the right eye is generated, the picture signal for the left eye recorded before one field in the field memory 8 for the left eye is inputted and displayed. Similarly, in the picture display device 2 for the right eye, after the picture signal for the right eye is directly or once stored in the field memory 9, thereafter, inputted and displayed and the pictures for the right and left eyes are constantly displayed on the picture display devices 1, 2.
