Abstract:
To provide a Pt-coated wire which can be used at a high temperature and is superior in durability.
The Pt-coated wire has a Pt coating layer with the thickness of 1 μm or more formed on a core material made from a PtIr alloy, and effectively suppresses an oxidation-depletion of Ir of the core material to prevent the lowering of its strength.
