Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a PTC resistance element which has no crack nor deformation in a ceramic part, an electrode part or a brazing material part.
CONSTITUTION: An alloy (29-17 alloy) which has the same coefficient of linear expansion as V2O3 ceramic 1 is used as an electrode 3. The electrode 3 and the V2O3 ceramic 1 are joined together with brazing material 2 (59%Ag-27.25 Cu-12.5%In-1.25Ti) in vacuum (10-5 Torr or below) at 700-1000°C for 20 minutes.
