Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a PTO clutch brake which can effectively hinder turning- together even though the PTO clutch is of such a structure that a driving gear is furnished adjacent to the follower side clutch member and rotates as a single piece therewith.
CONSTITUTION: A disengage energized type PTO clutch 5 with wet type multiple discs is equipped with a driving gear 12, which is situated adjacent to the follower side clutch member 9 and rotates in a single piece therewith, wherein the driving gear 12 fitted at the side with a shoe 16 shall be slidable in the axial direction of a transmission shaft 8. Frictional contacting of this shoe 16 with the inner surface of a clutch housing H constitutes a braking means B. The energization force given by a clutch piston 10 when it is in the return stroke toward the direction where the driving gear exists in association with the clutch disengaging motion, is transmitted to the driving gear 12 by a transmitting means C through a pin 14 penetrating the follower side clutch member 9.
