Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the shock at the time of clutch engagement, by vertically moving a lift arm to first engage a friction-plate clutch to engage a claw-engagement clutch when the speed of rotation of a PTO shaft started by the former clutch is heightened. CONSTITUTION:When an arm 58 is turned counterclockwise through a link 59 by operating a lift arm not shown in the drawing, the levering tip part 58a of the arm 58 moves the case 7 of a PTO clutch unit leftward to displace a stop ring 83 leftward inside the case to push and move an actuator 81 by a spring 56. As a result, friction plates 8 are tightened on each other to engage a friction- plate clutch to transmit the torque of a shaft 10 to a PTO shaft 6. After that, the outside splines 80a of a splined member 80 are engaged with the inside splines of the case 7 by its following leftward movement to engage a claw-engagement clutch to rotate the PTO shaft 6 and the shaft 10 integrally.
