Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent an unset identification code from being transmitted at the time of informing self-diagnostic information to the side of an alarm receiver in a public telephone set.
CONSTITUTION: When the identification code is not set to RAM 17, 'non-usable' is displayed on a display 12 to inform an operator of that the identification code is not set and self-diagnostic information is hindered from transmitting to a normal processing such as information processing, speaking processing, etc., to the alarm receiver. Consequently, the unset identification code is not transmitted to the alarm receiver with self-diagnostic information so that after the dealer sets the identification code, it is transmitted to the alarm receiver for the first time. As the result, the side of the alarm receiver can easily identify which public telephone set diagnostic information is from.
