Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve breaking performance by providing a straightening member in a passage of an insulation nozzle to obtain the straightening effect of arc extinguishing gas and restraining the excessive temperature rise of arc extinguishing gas in the insulation nozzle for efficient blow to arc.
CONSTITUTION: A straightening member 6a is provided in an insulation nozzle 5 with a gas space open to the downstream side in the rectifying member 6a. In this way, the space in the insulation nozzle 5 is increased in volume to make gas heat capacity larger so that the excessive temperature rise of blow gas due to arc heating can be restrained.
