To provide a pull handle device which is simple and robust in structure, and facilitates assembly of a drawer.
The pull handle device 5 is formed of a support body 6 arranged on a rear side thereof and a lever 7 arranged on a front side thereof, and both the support body and the lever extend almost over the entire lateral length of a panel board 3. The support body 6 and the lever 7 are preferably produced by extrusion of a metal such as aluminum or a resin. The support body 6 has a downward-facing linear protrusion 23 having a head portion 23a, formed on the front thereof, and the lever 7 has a groove 24 formed therein, into which the linear protrusion 23 is fitted. The linear protrusion 23 and the groove 24 are fitted to each other when they are axially slid. Further the linear protrusion 23 doubles as a spindle while the groove 24 doubles as a bearing, and when the lever 7 is drawn, a latch claw 8 is rotated via an intermediate interlocking member 16 and a rotating shaft 14, in a direction that recedes from a main body.
