Abstract:
A retraction mechanism for assisting operation of change of the position of a body (7) of a drawer body (8) from a first position to a second position. The retraction mechanism has a holding frame (3) placed so as to be slidable relative to the body (7) in the same direction as the drawer body, urging means (16) for sliding the holding frame (3) by urging force, a button (4) operatively interconnected with a latch (5) in the holding frame and sliding when pushed by the drawer body etc., and the latch (5) operatively associated with the button and changed over from a first attitude to a second attitude. In the first attitude, the latch (5) is engaged with the body side with a forward end claw (53) receded within the holding frame, and in the second attitude, the engagement is released with the forward end claw (53) projecting from the holding frame. When the drawer body (8) is slid up to the middle to the second position, the latch (5) is changed over from the first attitude to the second attitude when the button (4) is pressed by the drawer body etc., a connection section (9b) on the movement body side is engaged with the forward end claw (53), and the drawer body (8) is retracted to the second position by sliding of the holding frame (3) effected by the urging means (16).
