The pulley includes a pulley shaft 21, a fixed sheave 22, and a movable sheave 23, which makes a belt clamping force act on a belt 4 provided between the fixed sheave 22 and itself. The pulley shaft 21 includes an outer cylinder 21a formed in a cylindrical shape having openings at both ends; an inner cylinder 21b, which is formed in the cylindrical shape having a partition wall part 21j at one end side and which structures a working medium passage 21c, a passage of a working medium, with the inner surface 21e of the outer cylinder 21a and the partition wall part 21j by inserting the partition wall part 21j in the outer cylinder 21a; and a seal part 21d, where the inner surface 21e of the outer cylinder 21a and the outer surface 21n of the outer cylinder 21b contact each other to prevent the leak of the working medium from the working medium passage 21c.
