Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley device which can reduce the number of revolutions transmitted to a pulley from an input member when the number of revolutions of the input member connected to a crankshaft of an engine is high.SOLUTION: A pulley device arranged at an end part of a crankshaft of an engine coaxially with the crankshaft, and having a pulley part connected to a belt for transmitting a drive force to an auxiliary machine including an alternator includes: a planetary gear mechanism arranged in the pulley device; and two clutch parts for switching a connection state of the input member connected to the crankshaft and the planetary gear mechanism. The pulley device has a deceleration mode for reducing the number of revolutions of the pulley part more than that of the input member, and a constant velocity mode for making the number of revolutions of the input member and that of the pulley part coincide with each other. The two clutch parts are connected to the input member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
