Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous slurry of anthraquinones at a high concentration useful as a pulp digesting assistant.
SOLUTION: This pulp digesting assistant composition is an aqueous slurry of anthraquinones comprising a powder of the anthraquinones having ≤10 μm average particle diameter and ≤30 μm maximum particle diameter, an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant which is a copolymer consisting essentially of an alkoxypolyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate and an alkyl (meth)acrylate and water as essential constituent elements.
