Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating only pulp composed of high-purity α cellulose, from a pulp complex.SOLUTION: A pulp separation method is characterized in that a pulp complex is pulverized underwater, a poorly water-soluble solvent with a specific gravity of 1 or less is added thereto for separating it into a component floating in water and a sedimenting component, the floating component is recovered, and high-purity α cellulosic is obtained from the floating component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
