Abstract:
To provide a pulper that improves the fibrillation of paper material with as little wear as possible.SOLUTION: A pulper for circulating a fiber material suspension contained in a vessel is provided with at least one screen (3), a screen surface of the screen (3) having a screen opening is passed thereon by a rotor (5), the rotor (5) is formed by a rotor head (6), a plurality of rotor vanes (7) are fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the rotor head (6), and a rotor circle passed thereon by the rotor vane (7) of the screen (3) has a plurality of elongated notches (8). An intersection angle (9) between a working edge (11) of the rotor vane (7) directed in a rotational direction (10) and a shear edge (12) of the notch (8) directed in a direction opposite to the rotational direction (10) is not smaller in a radially outward direction but larger than 90°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
