Title:
PULSATER IN WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10225587
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a pulsator for a washing machine in which a small quantity of soft and fine laundry can be separately stored and washed.

This pulsater is composed of a rotary disc 15, a cylindrical member 20 integrally incorporated with the center part of the upper surface of the rotary disc 15, and extended upward by a predetermined length so as to define a laundry storage chamber 40, a lead 50 removably attached to the upper surface of the cylindrical member 20, for preventing the laundry stored in the chamber 40 of the cylindrical member 20 from coming off, and several blades 70 regularly arranged at the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical member 20, for forming a swirl in a spin washing tub. Several through-holes 30 are formed in the outer peripheral wall of the cylindrical member 20 so as to allow washing water to flow into and from the washing chamber. Since a centrifugal force exerted to the laundry stored in the pulsater 10 is relatively small, damage and entanglement can be reduced. Further, since the pulsater 10 has a simple structure, it can be simply manufactured by casting. Accordingly, the manufacturing cost is advantageously reduced.
