To develop a pulsation generator for giving a desired pulsation to a physical object and a vibration measurement/evaluation system for accurately measuring/evaluating vibration characteristics owing to the vibration of the object made to pulsate.
This pulsation generator includes a pressing part 58 for pressing a disk rotor 54; a master cylinder 72 and a master rod 74 connected to the pressing part 58; an eccentric cam 78 rotatively driven by a servomotor 76; a dynamic link 80 rocked by the eccentric cam 78 and a static link 82; and a preload spring 98 mounted on the static link 82. When the servomotor 76 rotates, a fluctuating pressing force is applied to the master rod 74 by the eccentric cam 78, the dynamic link 80, and the static link 82. Further, a substantially constant pressing force is applied to the master rod 74 by the preload spring 98.
