PURPOSE: To improve charging energy shifting efficiency by a method wherein the ratio of the capacity of a first capacitor to the same of a second capacitor is specified in a pulse charging device having the second capacitor, in which the charge of the first capacitor is shifted by the throwing of a high-speed switch to charge the second capacitor through high-speed charging.
CONSTITUTION: When the value of the capacity of a first capacitor C1 is made larger than the value of the capacitance of a second capacitor C2, the highest energy take-out efficiency can be obtained. The value of the ratio γ of the value of capacity, which maximize the energy take-out efficiency, is within the range of 0.7<γ<1.0 even though it depends on the kind of using high-speed switch, circuit conditions and the like. In this case, all of the charge, charged into the capacitor C1, is shifted to the capacitor C2 and the remaining rate of the charge of the capacitor C1 is very low. Accordingly, a pulse charging device having excellent charging energy shifting efficiency can be obtained.
