Title:
PULSE CHARGING ELECTRIC DUST COLLECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3419303
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the problem of spark and to prevent the remarkable decrease of collection efficiency.
SOLUTION: When the frequency of spark per a fixed time is in a degree not affecting the collection efficiency, the impressed voltage to a discharge electrode is controlled to an optimum DC base voltage by the main control. When the spark frequency becomes equal to or above a set value, pulse voltage is set to a lower limit set value by switching to the control for spark frequent occurrence time and the output voltage of the DC base power source is adjusted to start charging again. The pulse voltage lower limit set value is the min. value of the voltage to uniformly generate corona discharge on the discharge electrode surface at the time of applying pulse voltage. The uniform corona discharge is secured on the discharge electrode surface even to the high electric resistivity dust easily generating spark by the pulse charge control by superposing the DC base voltage with the pulse voltage in this manner and the remarkable decrease of collection efficiency is prevented by suppressing the generation of spark.
