Title:
PULSE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2888011
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the pulse communication system which can perform the multiplexed transmission of sub signals at low speed without degrading the bit error rate of main signals.
CONSTITUTION: In a transmission circuit 10, a multi-level PPM modulation circuit 1 converts a main signal Sm to a quaternary PPM pulse Sp. When a sub signal Ss at an H level, a switch 3 selects an inverted PPM pulse Spi inverting the logical level of the PPM pulse Sp inverted by an inverter circuit 2 and defines it as an output signal St. In a reception circuit 20, the inversion of the PPM pulse is detected from a received signal Sr by a synchronizing pulse detecting circuit 11 and an average logical level detection circuit 12. When the inversion of the PPM pulse is detected, a switch 13 selects a received signal Sri from a delay circuit 16 and an inverter circuit 15, and a non-inverted PPM pulse Spr is obtained at the input terminal of a quaternary PPM signal demodulation circuit 14. A sub signal Ssr is reproduced while obtaining the logical level average value of the received signal Sr at a low-pass filter 17.
