Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pulse generating element that is suited to the mass production by holding linearly a magnetic wire rod bent by bending by a pipe and securing the Barkhausen effect of the magnetic wire rod.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic wire rod 8 bent by bending is put into an aluminum pipe having its inner diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the magnetic wire rod 8 and held linearly. Then a magnetic field is applied to the wire rod 8 held in the pipe by a magnetic coil 6, and the pulse voltage generated by the Barkhausen effect is detected by a coil 7 and measured by an oscilloscope 10. Thus a pulse generating element can be easily produced compared with a conventional process.
