Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pulse generator for realizing a Boltzmann machine performing a probabilistic operation and a simulated annealing controlling the probability by a simple circuitry.
CONSTITUTION: The generation probability of a pulse to be outputted via a logical operation means 5 from a first pulse generation means 1 is enabled to be changed and the simulated annealing in a Boltzmann machine, etc., can be realized by a simple circuitry by constituting the pulse generator by the first pulse generation means 1 generating a pulse, a second pulse generation means 2 generating the pulse whose generation probability is possible to be varied and controlled and the logical operation means 5 outputting the pulse by performing the logical operation of the pulse to be outputted from these first and second pulse generation means 1, 2 and controlling the generation probability of the pulse of the second pulse generation means 2.
