To eliminate the attendance of an inspection engineer or the like who manages the test period when a pulse oxymeter for measuring the arterial oxygen saturation degree (SpO2 value) in a bloodless manner by utilizing a difference in absorbance characteristics of two wavelengths, red light and infrared light in a living body.
An acceleration sensor 25 which detects the walking of a subject is installed. From the detection result, a maneuver measuring section 233 updates and acquires the moving sum of the momentum for a predetermined period, e.g., a minute, in order. An analyzing section 234 judges the walk start when the value becomes a predetermined threshold value or higher, and judges the walk end when the value becomes less than the threshold value. The analyzing section 234 makes a memory 24 store the value together with the SpO2 value and the data of the momentum by a flag or the like. Therefore, the start time and the end time of the test period is automatically and accurately judged without the attendance of the inspection engineer, and the data of the SpO2 value at each time can be acquired.
