PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a pulse power source and to simplify it by connecting a unit in which a capacitor, a saturable reactor and a cylindrical conductor are sequentially disposed from inside as circuits of a plurality of stages through disclike electrodes to improve the efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: In a pulse power source, units of front and rear stages made by sequentially disposing capacitors 17∼18, saturable reactors 20∼21, and a cylindrical conductor 34 from a center are connected through disclike electrodes 24, 30, 35 as a center in a plurality of ladder-stage circuits. The reactor 21 is connected to the capacitor 18 in the rear stage through a disclike conductor 23 in which the capacitor 18 is disposed at the center. Further, in the front stage, one terminal of the capacitor 17 is connected to the electrode 24, the other terminal is connected to one terminal of the reactor 20, the other terminal of the reactor 20 is connected to the conductor 23 of the rear stage. As a result, the currents of the reactors 20, 21 are reverse to the current direction of the conductor 34 to cancel each other, thereby becoming a noninduction state.
