Title:
PULSE TRANSFORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002270430
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a reliable pulse transformer that is less affected by electrostatic current and electromagnetic induction surge, and can obtain stable insulating performance.

Electrostatic shielding conductors 11-16 arranged around a primary winding conductor 10 are divided into two groups, a first group of electrostatic shielding conductors consisting of the electrostatic shielding conductors 12, 14, and 16 are connected to a ground line 30 at the lower portion for grounding, and a second group of electrostatic shielding conductors consisting of the electrostatic shielding conductors 11, 13, and 15 are connected to the ground line 30 at the upper section for grounding. Half of an electrostatic surge current flowing to the electrostatic shielding conductors 11-16 flows from the upper section to the lower section, and the other half flows from the lower section to the upper section, so that current flows through a core 1 becomes nearly zero by subtraction, thus preventing a voltage from being generated in secondary coil winding 2 due to the electrostatic surge current.
