Title:
PULSE WIDTH MODULATOR FOR DRIVING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60162497
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the variation in the current of a motor by doubling the frequency of the motor current from the frequency of a reference triangular signal. CONSTITUTION:When a control signal (a) is positive, a pulse signal A is outputted to the output terminal of one comparator 11, and a pulse signal C is outputted to the output terminal of the other comparator 12. Pulse signals A, C are converted to pulse signals E, G by delay circuits 18, 20. The pulse signals A, C are converted by inverters 16, 17 and delay circuits 19, 21 into pulse signals F, H, respectively. When the control signal (a) is negative, pulse signals A-H are inverted. A logic circuit 33 applies pulse signals J-N to transistors Tr1-Tr4 in response to the pulse signals A-H. When the brake signal C is applied, the transistors Tr1, Tr3 are turned OFF, and the transistors Tr2, Tr4 are turned ON, and a motor M is braked.
