Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a laser output having desired pulse waveform stably immediately after start of repetitive oscillation.
CONSTITUTION: A control section comprises a lamp power operating section, a frequency generating section, a lighting control section for the lamp, and a timing control section. A lamp current detecting circuit 30, a lamp voltage detecting circuit 32, a memory 36, the control section 40, a drive circuit and a switching transistor 14 for controlling discharge establish a closed loop for causing the power, being thrown into an exciting lamp 20 at each pulse discharge, to follow up a reference power value.
