Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize satisfactory hold correction suitable for S/N by controlling the feedback quantity of a signal feedback line so that the level of a detected noise and the inclination of a correction waveform in the hold period have negative correlations. CONSTITUTION:A resistance value R2 of a variable resistance 32 is controlled by a signal Vc indicating the noise level, and this signal Vc is generated by a BPF 33, an amplifier 34, a noise detector 35. When S/N is sufficient, the resistance value R2 of the variable resistance 32 is reduced, and therefore, the inclination of the correction waveform in the hold period is increased to approach the differential hold correction; but when S/N is not sufficient because of bad C/N or the like, the inclination of the signal waveform to be subjected to hold correction is gradually reduced to approach the preceding value hold correction because the resistance value R2 is increased. Thus, remarkable degradation in tone quality of differential hold correction for insufficient S/N is prevented, and satisfactory hold correction is realized independently of S/N.
