To provide a pulverization aid having high pulverization efficiency with the effective utilization of resources, solving a problem that diethylene glycol produced as a by-product in the production of ethylene glycol from ethylene oxide is used as the pulverization aid used in the pulverization of a cement raw material, cement clinker or a cement product or the like in a cement plant in the view point of reducing the production cost, but recently the yield of ethylene glycol in the production process of ethylene glycol is improved to decrease the by-produced diethylene glycol and thereby, the stable securement of diethylene glycol is becoming difficult.

The pulverization aid for the cement-based material is obtained by containing dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether.
