Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of recovering pulverized matter at the time of pulverizing a material for injection molding of metallic powder.

CONSTITUTION: Liquid nitrogen is supplied into a pulverizing vessel 4 from a liquid nitrogen cylinder 19 to cool sprue runners 3 at the time of pulverizing the sprue. runners 3 consisting of the green compacts formed by injection molding of the material for injection molding of the metallic powder in the pulverizing vessel 4. At this time, the sprue. runners 3 are cooled to the m.p. of a binder contg. the lowest m.p. among the binder components included in the sprue. runners 3. As a result, the tacky adhesiveness of the sprue. runners 3 is degraded and the sprue. runners 3 do not stick to the inside of a pulverizing machine 1 any more.
