Abstract:

To provide a pulverized coal burner equipped with a plasma torch for igniting pulverized coal, which has a stable ignition ability.

The pulverized coal burner 5 is provided with: an inner tube nozzle 9 provided inside a nozzle body 6, concentrically with the nozzle body; a cylindrical fuel conduction space 10 formed between the inner tube nozzle and the nozzle body, through which a pulverized coal mixed stream 14 is jetted; a secondary air adjusting device 7 provided to surround a tip part of the nozzle body, through which secondary air 16 is jetted from the periphery of the nozzle body; a plasma torch 11 provided at the center of the inner tube nozzle. The plasma torch forms plasma 27 in front of the nozzle body, and the pulverized coal mixed stream jetted from the nozzle body crosses the plasma.
