PURPOSE: To eliminate staying of pulverized coal mixture gas at an extremity end of a connecting pipe and prevent a burn loss of a burner by a method wherein a ceiling part at an inner surface of the connecting pipe between a pulverized coal mixture gas distributor and two kinds of pulverized coal mixture gas injection nozzles is provided with a flow regulating block of triangular column of which axis line is horizontal and crossed at a right angle with a nozzle axis.

CONSTITUTION: Pulverized coal mixture gas 1 flowing within a connection pipe 5 strikes against a flow regulating block 10 of triangular column arranged at a ceiling part of an inner surface of an extremity end of the connecting pipe 5, thereafter the mixture gas is reduced in its flow and its flow speed is locally increased. A part of the pulverized coal mixture gas 1 accelerated is directed downwardly under an action of an inclined part at a front flow of the flow regulating block 10 to blow off the fine powder coal accumulated at a staying part at the bottom surface of the connecting pipe 5 and then the mixture gas is injected into a furnace through nozzles 3 and 4. With such an arrangement as above, the staying of the pulverized coal mixture gas 1 at the extremity end of the connecting pipe 5 is eliminated and the accumulation of the pulverized coal is eliminated and then burn loss of the burner can be prevented.
