PURPOSE: To realize a pulverizer with a bridging preventive means in which there is no possibility of causing bridging by a material to be pulverized.
CONSTITUTION: A material to be pulverized 15 fed into a casing 9 from a feeding port 9a is pulverized by the mutual action between plural hammers 4 pivotally attached to a rotating disk 2 rotating at high speed along the peripheral direction thereof at intervals by pins 3 and plural fixed blades 5, 6, 7, and is turned into a pulverized material 16, which is passed through the mesh of a screen 8 and drops into the lower part of a casing 9. Since an air flow 14 toward a discharge port 9b is generated by a fan 11 arranged in a suitable region between the screen 8 and the discharge port 9b to the pulverized material 16, the occurrence of a vortex due to the hammers 4 rotating at high speed is restrained, and the pulverized material 16 is entrained by the air flow 14 and flows toward the discharge port 9b and drops onto the 2nd conveyor 13.
