Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive each pump interposed in a paint supply system of each color paint by a small motor of comparatively small torque and easily increase pumps according to the number of color of paint.
SOLUTION: Revolution of a motor 2 for driving pump is transmitted to a pump P via shaft units 3. The shaft units 3 are formed by cross deformed pipes 6 having branch pipe parts 5, 5 in which driven shafts 9 are inserted into main pipe parts 4 into which main driving axles 8 are inserted and the pump P is mounted on each branch pipe part 5. Therefore, if the shaft units 3 are connected according to the number of installation of the pump P, the pump P can be easily increased even when the number of color is increased. Revolution of the motor 2 for driving pump is simultaneously transmitted to each driven shaft 9 inserted into the branch pipe part 5 via the main driving axle 8 of each shaft unit 3. If a clutch of the pump P supplying painting color paint is connected, only the pump P can be driven.
