To provide a pump device performing estimated terminal pressure constant control without getting into shortage of supply water quantity or shortage of supply water pressure.
This pump device is provided with a pump 310, a pressure detection means 323 detecting delivery pressure, a motor 210, an estimated terminal pressure constant control computing part 15 determining relation of delivery pressure corresponding to delivery flow rate of the pump 310 for adjusting the terminal pressure constant between the minimum rotation speed Nb corresponding to the minimum required flow rate and the maximum rotation speed Nmax corresponding to the maximum required flow rate, and a rotation speed control means 13 controlling rotation speed of the motor 210 to make actual delivery pressure required delivery pressure. The estimated terminal pressure constant control computing part 15 is constructed to re-compute the maximum rotation speed Nmax with corresponding to increased maximum flow rate when the maximum required flow rate changes to increase direction during operation of the pump 310. The maximum rotation speed Nmax is initialized according to predetermined schedule.
