Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility that the inside of a casing gets clogged with a foreign body.SOLUTION: A pump 1 device comprises: an electric motor 10; a casing 15 provided with a suction port 151 for sucking liquid, and provided with a discharge port 17 for discharging the liquid; an impeller 14 provided inside the casing, and to which the rotational torque of the electric motor is transmitted; and a plurality of ribs 16-1 and 16-2 provided on an outer wall of the casing so as to partially block the suction port. A flow passage is formed so that when the impeller is rotated, liquid is sucked from the suction port 151, and the sucked liquid is discharged from the discharge port 17. A suction port blade tip diameter of the impeller is equal to or larger than a maximum distance out of distances between the adjacent ribs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
