Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving pump unit enabling a variable speed operation control to be carried out by a single pump unit while performing a positive heat radiation.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a pump unit in which a pump part arranged in a pump casing to have an impeller and a rotating motor for rotationally driving the impeller are integrally assembled and the rotating motor comprises a housing having a plurality of cooling fins at its outer periphery, a stator fixed to the housing, a rotor fixed to a rotating shaft of the rotating motor and constituted to have a plurality of permanent magnets arranged in a cylindrical shape, a bearing for supporting the rotating shaft, an end bracket to which the bearing is fixed, a fan fixed to an end part of the end bracket opposite to that of the side to which the pump part is fixed, a cover covering the housing, an electrical power converter device fixed to a part of the housing, and a control board fixed to the other part of the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
