Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow fluids to be delivered at the pressure required by a fluid supplier without rapid reduction of fluid pressure associated with rapid reduction of rotations of a pump with a standby pump when the pump is stopped to switch to a standby pump.
CONSTITUTION: Fly wheels 31, 32 are attached to a rotary driver which drives pumps 1, 11 via centrifugal clutches 33, 34 which are operated by centrifugal forces. When the specified number of rotations over which centrifugal forces cause a friction clutch to be activated is exceeded, the pumps are connected to the fly wheels to be rotated and while the prescribed rpm is not reached, the fly wheels are disconnected.
