To provide a pump capable of adjusting a clearance between a bucket forming surface forming a bucket part of an impeller and an opposite surface of a housing opposing to the bucket forming surface.
A housing 11 of a pump 10 is provided with a housing main body part 21 and a slide part 23 provided on the housing main body 21 in such a manner that the same can freely slide to approach to/separate from the bucket forming surface 15c at a position opposing to the bucket forming surface 15c of the impeller 15. Consequently, a clearance δ between the bucket forming surface 15c of the impeller 15 and the opposite surface 23c of the slide part 23 opposing to the bucket forming surface 15c becomes adjustable. As a result, pump efficiency can be maintained with a small clearance δ during operation and adhesion of an impeller 15 and the hosing 1 due to freezing can be inhibited with a large clearance δ during stop.
