A pump body of a pump 1 to carry a lump of molten polymer and/or elastomer comprises an inlet pipe 7 to receive a material, an outlet pipe 8 to discharge the material, and a center body 11 which is communicated with the inlet pipe 7 and the outlet pipe 8, and accommodates at least one of gears 15 and 16 with a power shaft 18 to carry the material from the inlet pipe 7 to the outlet pipe 8 fitted thereto. The pump body is constituted of two components 2 and 2' to be assembled with each other. Each pump body includes at least one through hole 14 communicated with a center chamber 11, and at least one shaft 18 of the gears 15 and 16 is supported in a directly rotatable manner by a set of holes 14 facing each other in the two components 2 and 2'.
