This pump includes a casing having an impeller sucking and delivering liquid built therein and an electric motor driving the impeller, and is provided with a casing cover 4 arranged on an opening part of the casing and having a suction port 9 in which liquid flows and a delivery port 10 from which liquid is delivered connected to an upper side thereof and a lower side thereof respectively. A flow in passage 4d of predetermined width is provided on one of side surface of a bottom surface in the casing cover 4 for introducing liquid flowing in from the suction port to an upper part in the casing cover 4.
