A pump discharges fluid containing magnetic microparticles from a narrow discharge port. This magnetic fluid pump is constructed such that: a channel portion for letting fluid flow is arranged comprising a magnetic pole for applying a magnetic field; a member for heating liquid is placed, in proximity to the discharge port and its length is not less than twice the channel width and less than four times the same; and at the same time, the front part of the discharge part is comprised of a nonmagnetic material and its thickness is approximately one times the channel width.
