This pump for a molten metal contains a molten metal 1 in a molten metal storage room and afterwards transfers the molten metal contained in the molten metal storage room by making the gas flow into the molten metal storage room. In this case, the switching of accommodation of the molten metal to the aforesaid molten metal storage rooms 14a, 14c and discharge of the molten metal 1 from the molten metal storage rooms 14a, 14c is done by the valve wherein each of a valve 5 and a valve recipient 3 having inside alleys for fluid flow 13a, 13c, 22, 25 and alleys for gas flow 23, 24 respectively, are constituted so that they are slidably pressed with a slope 6 of the valve which has the opening for alley for fluid flow and gas flow and a slope 4 of the valve recipient.
