Abstract:
To provide a pump system which inhibits occurrence of a gas lock to improve the operation rate of a pump, and to provide a control method of the pump system.SOLUTION: A pump system includes: a pump having pump bodies which pump underground crude oil to the ground and an electric motor 38 which rotates the pump bodies; an electric power supply part which supplies electric power to the electric motor 38; and a control device 13 which is provided on the ground and controls the electric power supply part to control rotation numbers of the pump bodies. The control device 13 periodically changes the rotation numbers of the pump bodies during operation of the pump.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
