Abstract:
To provide a pump system that can detect backflow of liquid flowing in a pump pipe without providing a backflow detector in the pump pipe.
A pump system comprises: a plurality of pump units 2A, 2B, and 3C each including a pump P and a motor M for driving the pump P; and at least one pump controller 60 that controls the operation of the plurality of pump units 2A, 2B, and 3C. The plurality of pump units 2A, 2B, and 3C are connected in series via a pipe 3 in which liquid flows, and the plurality of pump units 2A, 2B, and 3C each include a backflow detector 50 that detects backflow of the liquid from the phase sequence of induced voltage of the motor M.
