Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a drainage water amount on relief piping to a minimum amount while preventing overheat of a pump in a small water amount operation.SOLUTION: A pump unit includes: a pump; relief piping connected to the pump; a relief valve installed to the relief piping; and a control device for controlling the relief valve to open or close depending on temperature of internal fluid of the pump. The pump is stopped when the temperature rises to a first threshold. The control device controls the relief valve to open when the temperature rises to a second threshold that is lower than the first threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
